Vincent J. Eiden, a resident of Crestwood Kentucky, has been practicing law throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 1979. Vince has practiced in the areas of criminal defense, workers’ compensation, domestic relations, personal injury, bankruptcy and probate. Currently Vince practices in the areas of Realtor® defense and creditor’s rights as Attorney of Council with Virginia L. Lawson & Associates, P.S.C. He has participated in both private practice, with numerous firms, and public service, as Assistant Public Defender and Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Hopkins County.
Vince attended Saint Xavier High School, University of Louisville, and Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. Upon the completion of his Bachelor of Art in Political Science at the University of Louisville in 1975, he began his legal education which included an internship with Legal Aid Society, Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky and a Law Clerk position with the City of Louisville.
After graduation from Brandeis School of Law, Vince practiced with several private law firms including; C. Terry Earle, Attorney-at-Law; Earle & Baird, Attorneys-at-Law; Donan & Hunt, Attorneys-at-Law; Vincent J. Eiden, Attorney-at-Law; Segal, Isenberg, Sales, Stewart, Cutler & Tillman; Stewart & Roelandt; and Virginia L. Lawson & Associates, P.S.C. He has extensive litigation experience in the areas of criminal defense, workers’ compensation, domestic relations and personal injury. Vince is currently Special Master Commissioner for Henry County, Oldham County, and Trimble County, Kentucky and is a Guardian Ad Litem for dependency, neglect and abuse cases in Oldham County, Kentucky.
While working with Virginia L. Lawson & Associates, P.S.C. he has been active in the real estate industry in a variety of capacities, including representing numerous boards and associations of Realtors®, real estate brokers, real estate appraisers, auctioneers, and mortgage lenders. A large part of his practice includes litigation defense for providers of professional liability insurance for real estate licensees. These cases have been before the Kentucky Real Estate Commission, the Kentucky Auctioneers Board, the Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board, Professional Standards Committees, District Courts, Circuit Courts, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the Kentucky Supreme Court.
An active member of the Oldham County Bar Association, Vince served as President in 1996. He is also a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association.
Vince served as Mayor of Orchard Grass Hills, Kentucky from 1998-2002. He volunteers annually as a Judge for the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville’s Moot Court Competition. He is married to Patricia Eiden and they have two grown children, Bradford and Benjamin.
